Camping and Touring
Our camping field is located on the banks of the River Severn with fantastic scenery and easy access to the river for canoeists and fishermen. We have a total of 22 pitches available which can accommodate a variety of tents. All camping pitches are adjacent to the Facilities making the location ideal for families or couples.
The spacious touring area is well landscaped and maintained with attractive trees, shrubs and hedges. We cater for all touring caravans, Motorhomes and R.V’s. All pitches are hard standing and fully serviced with water, electric and a night light. Advanced bookings are welcomed and pitches can be reserved per night or
on a seasonal basis.
The facilities on site include a heated toilet/shower block with free hot running water. Entry to the shower
block is controlled via a key which you will be allocated on your arrival for a small cash deposit of £10 which will then be returned to you on the safe return of the key when you depart.
We also have a washing up area, Elsan waste disposal point, Water point, Rubbish and recycling point.
At the entrance to the caravan park you will find a
Caravan Park Reception/Holiday Home sales office and general information point.
For your safety we also have a security Barrier system in place on entry to our holiday home and caravan fields. The barrier is controlled via a key fob which you will be allocated with on your arrival for a cash deposit of £20 which will then be returned to you on the safe return of the key fob when you depart.
Adjacent to the park is The Wingfield Arms Public House serving home cooked food lunchtimes and
evenings and carvery on a Sunday. There is also a children's play area and fishing is available along the banks of the River Severn. Day tickets are available to purchase from the bar. If a table in the restaurant is required It is advisable to book. for more information please call 01743 850750

Bus services operate every 30 minutes to Shrewsbury and Oswestry. The Bus stop is located 50 meters from the caravan park.
